ENKOTEC Nail Collator Machines

ENKOTEC's product program of coil nail making machinery includes different types of nail collator machines, such as a high-efficient plastic strip collator, with an optional strip handler, and a high-capacity wire coil collator, which may be supplied with an automatic strapping device, as well as other options e.g. online coating, additional extension modules and various types of coils.

ENKOTEC plastic strip collator

This video shows an ENKOllator plastic strip collator, which has been designed for making plastic collated strip nails, using servo-drive technology in all processes.

ENKOTEC's plastic collator can produce bright, electro, hot dipped galvanized and stainless steel nails, with smooth shank, ring shank and screw shank.

The nails are carried by an ENKOTEC feeder bowl to a pair of guide tracks, in which they are put into the required position and transported to two plastic extruding heads at a speed of up to 2,000 nails per minute.

The strip handling unit takes over the nail strips from plastic collator and stores the coated strips in a rotating wheel for a sufficient drying period. Afterwards, the strips are stacked in up to 10-strip-stacks onto a conveyor belt, where the stacks are picked off and packed into cartons by the operator.

ENKOTEC wire coil collator

Here you can see an ENKOllator wire coil nail making machine in action. This collating machine has been designed for making wire welded coil nails using automatic cutter and coiling units driven by servo-drive technology.

ENKOTEC's wire coil collator can produce bright and electro galvanized coil nails with smooth shank, ring shank, screw shank and spiral shank.

The loose nails are carried by an ENKOTEC vibration feeder bowl to a pair of guide tracks, in which they are put into the required position and transported to two rotating welding electrodes at a speed of up to 3,000 nails per minute.

After the nails have been connected by resistance welding technology, the endless strip is cut to the required length and automatically wound. The nail coils get pushed off the coiling unit and can be taken over manually or fully automatically by an optional extension unit.
